killamch89 Posted January 27, 2025 Posted January 27, 2025 Do you think the price for official storage is justified? Have you tried any third-party options, and how did they work out? Is the performance on par with the internal drive, or do you notice any lag?
Scorpion Posted January 29, 2025 Posted January 29, 2025 The price for official storage seems steep, but third-party options offer similar performance at a fraction of the cost, a worthwhile compromise for many gamers.
killamch89 Posted February 4, 2025 Author Posted February 4, 2025 Official Xbox storage devices are great for hassle-free performance, but the price can be steep. I've had decent experiences with certain third-party options that offer a good balance between cost and performance. It's all about finding the right balance based on your needs and budget.
Shortie Posted May 4, 2025 Posted May 4, 2025 The price tag for official storage devices, especially ones for the Xbox Series X and S are quite steep. I know there are some third party ones out there as a few years ago, I bought my three son's one each for Christmas and they have had no issues with them. I believe if I remember rightly it was the Seagate external storage for the Xbox Series S.
