Warner Bros closes Monolith Productions and two other studios amid cancellation of Wonder Woman game

It's being reported that Warner Bros. has decided to close three video game studios, those being; Monolith Productions, Player First Games, and Warner Bros. Games San Diego. Yes that Monolith. It sucks seeing so many closures in the gaming world. It's like every day there's a new story about a studio closing. Warner Bros. excuse for the closures was a "strategic change in direction". 

I hope these studios get purchased by someone who will let them continue, especially Monolith and Player First. All three studios should merge and start a massive studio of their own. 

As well, amid this news of these closures, the Wonder Woman game that was in the works was also cancelled. But I feel the news of these studio closures is more important.

It's disheartening to hear about Warner Bros. closing Monolith Productions, Player First Games, and Warner Bros. Games San Diego. The gaming industry feels unstable, with studio closures becoming all too common. I really hope these talented teams can find new homes or merge to create something greater. The cancellation of the Wonder Woman game just adds to the disappointment. Here's hoping for better news soon!

Not surprised. If I'm being honest, I'm glad they never bothered to try and release the wonder woman game because Warner Bros would've messed that up too.
