The Blackangel Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 (edited) Everyone here knows I’m almost exclusively a classic gamer. Actually, the only recent game that I actually play is RDR2. Games that I enjoy on NES are really special to me. Many of which almost no one has heard of. Here’s a few on my NES games I personally love: King’s Knight Legacy Of The Wizard A Boy And His Blob Astyanax Hydlide Wizards And Warriors Here’s a few on my SNES games that stand out: Blackthorne The Legend Of The Mystical Ninja Warlock Wild C.A.T.S Drakken Also a few Super Scope games. All of these games really stood out to me. They gave me the opportunity to be a heroine and actually matter. There’s a couple on this list that may not be particularly obscure, but I listed them because in all my years, I’ve never heard anyone talk about them. What are your picks? Scorpion Posted March 2, 2025 Posted March 2, 2025 One of my favorite obscure NES games is "Little Nemo: The Dream Master." Its colorful graphics and dreamlike themes caught my attention. For the SNES, "Plok!" stands out with its quirky gameplay and unique characters. Both games offered a fun mix of platforming and creativity that kept me coming back!
killamch89 Posted March 13, 2025 Posted March 13, 2025 I particularly enjoyed 'The Guardian Legend' on the NES for its unique blend of action and puzzle-solving. Its hybrid gameplay, which alternates between shooter and adventure segments, created a multifaceted experience that was both challenging and refreshingly innovative for its time.
