Have you ever found yourself so eager to play a highly anticipated video game that you decided to take a day off from work? If so, what game was it, and did you feel it was worth skipping work for? I’d love to hear about your experience!

I've never taken a full day off specifically for gaming, but I've definitely scheduled "dentist appointments" that mysteriously coincided with afternoon releases or taken "sick days" that happened to fall on expansion launches. Sometimes a strategic half-day is all you need

I have never wanted to play a game so much that I took a day off from work but I remember as a kid, I would often try and get days off from school to play video games. One video game that I remember taking time off school to play and would say I was ill just to stay at home was Harry Potter on the PlayStation 1. Safe to say that my mum soon caught up on it.
