If they want to be our ally, then it could lead us into a golden age. However if they’re hostile, it could unite us against them. Think the movie Independence Day. Because of human curiosity or stupidity depending on how you want to look at it, we capture some and then try to crossbreed them with humans or other animals creating our own doomsday scenario.
