Shortie
I wouldn't say a game bug helped me and a friend once but it was in fact, an issue with my friends console at the time. It was back when the Xbox 360's has the RROD issue and his got the red ring of death as we were doing a terrorist hunt run in Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Whilst his console had the issue he could see where all the terrorists were during the play through as the game for him looked as though it was a heat detection map. Safe to say we managed to complete the challenge and he sent his Xbox in for repair after that.
killamch89
The morrowind fortify acrobatics bug let me jump across the entire map with a single bound. It wasn't just a bug - it became an emergent gameplay feature that made exploration far more enjoyable than the developers intended. Sometimes the most memorable gaming experiences come from these happy accidents.
