Constant background connectivity enables games to silently exchange data, so your handheld experience could be influenced by nearby players without active matchmaking. I don't think we are going to know exactly how much of a game changer it will be until it rolls out fully but I am certainly looking forward to seeing 5G in action on handheld devices.
