The Blackangel
The kids here have probably never been in an actual arcade, so I’m not sure if they will comment or not. But for those of us who blew our entire paycheck playing Mortal Kombat, Asteroids, or Afterburner, we always had a game we ere just drawn to. Technically there were two that got the majority of my attention. The lesser one was Silent Scope. The game that I spent more time on than any other was Soul Calibur II. I was a badass with Kilik. The machine kept track of the 100 best players. It was grueling to place on that list. Before I got it for GameCube, I played so much that I get ranked in sixth place on the list. Another game I was good at was Dance Maniax. For those who have never heard of it, it's like DDR, but you use your hands over sensors instead. I liked it a LOT morw than DDR. killamch89
Completing Metal Slug 3 on a single credit remains my proudest arcade moment. The final alien mothership section is brutally difficult, and watching a crowd gather during the last boss fight added incredible pressure. That 45-minute journey represented months of practice and pattern memorization.
