Cancelled Ultimate Spider-Man 2 Featured Green Goblin, S.H.I.E.L.D and More

I had no idea they were making an Ultimate Spider-Man 2, but I guess they were and there was talks including the Green Goblin as a playable character, with Doctor Doom, Daredevil and also a mention of S.H.I.E.L.D being part of the story. The game would have had dual protagonists, where you can play as Spider-Man and the Green Goblin. I would have loved to see this game come to fruition.

It is such a shame when we see a game that sounds great and is everything that we wanted to see in a game, end up not coming to fruition because the developers choose to cancel it before the game is complete.

This would have been a great game and would have also been a game that many would have had an interest in, such a shame to see it cancelled.

That sounds like it would have been incredible! Playing as Green Goblin alongside Spider-Man would've been such a unique twist. The original Ultimate Spider-Man was fantastic. It's always disappointing when promising sequels get cancelled.
