Games that feel like “home” to you

Are there games that for you feel like “returning home” if you start playing them again after a long time away? I think for me, Fallout and Elder Scrolls games most strongly invoke that feeling. In a different way, BioShock games as well.

The Mass Effect trilogy feels like coming home to old friends. Commander Shepard's quarters, the Normandy's hum, familiar crew banter - it's comfort gaming at its finest. Some games become part of your identity.

Games that feel like “home” to me are those immersive worlds where I find comfort, nostalgia, and a sense of belonging. They offer solace during tough times, reminding me of joyful memories and providing a safe space to explore, relax, and reconnect.
