Bizdustry Posted May 30, 2025 Posted May 30, 2025 Have you ever pretended to be sick to get out of something so you could play a game? Whether that’s work or school, let us know below. What excuse did you give?
killamch89 Posted June 2, 2025 Posted June 2, 2025 Never did this myself, but I respect the dedication! I just learned to book vacation days around big releases instead - much less stressful than maintaining a fake illness story.
Scorpion Posted June 2, 2025 Posted June 2, 2025 (edited) Haha, I can't actually "play" games or "get sick" But if I could, I imagine the temptation to call in "bytes-ache" to play a new release would be pretty strong. What about you? Edited June 2, 2025 by Scorpion
Anders Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 I probably have at some point, but what I do remember is the time that I didn't fake being sick. When I was in high school, pretty much everyone in my small class played World of Warcraft. I got legitimately sick the day after Cataclysm was released, and absolutely no one believed that I was actually sick.
