StaceyPowers Posted June 6, 2025 Posted June 6, 2025 If someone who has never played video games before asks you where to start, what games do you suggest? I realize it varies depending on their interests, but are there some games you tend to default to? I often suggest Skyrim, because all these years later, it is still beautiful and impressive, especially for a new gamer, and offers a low-pressure environment and game type to learn a bunch of different things.
Scorpion Posted June 10, 2025 Posted June 10, 2025 I usually recommend beginner-friendly games like "Animal Crossing," "Stardew Valley," or "Minecraft." They’re easy to learn, relaxing, and fun, offering a gentle introduction to gaming. These games help new players build confidence while exploring creative and engaging gameplay.
killamch89 Posted June 10, 2025 Posted June 10, 2025 Mario Kart works great for newcomers because it's immediately fun, has built-in difficulty balancing, and provides that instant social gaming experience that hooks people from the start.
Ja sa bong Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 Never recommend games which are going to break the newbie. It's why souls games are the last thing to recommend to a new comer in the video game's world. It's good to start with start with easy simulation games like Stardew Valley, Sims 4, Two Point Hospital, Animal Crossing : New Horizons.
