Knight Plug Posted June 9, 2025 Author Posted June 9, 2025 Yeah. I'd gone to bed, not knowing. I was thinking, oh man. I stayed up just for this. Then boom. I'm off to bed, sound asleep. This then happens behind my back. LOL. 😅 I used to support Michael Does Life, so we always used to stick it to the fake fans on YouTube and Skype, like during the lockdown. Or at least that's what he called them. Those were fun times. Sadly, he changed, by being too greedy and expecting loads of donations via Super Chat. I don't think the guy is really a huge gamer anyway. He does play them, but I can tell he ain't really daft on games like most people are. So he normally just says the same quotes and stuff. He's good for putting hilarious memes on shirts, I suppose. However, I think RE fans are generally a weird lot anyway. You have like three or four core groups of fans, all because of the time periods these games came out. It has ended up like Star Trek, or something. LOL. People may only like RE4 onwards. Or some people say REs 1 to CV are the real ones, like I guess I do say a lot online. Then we have the RE Engine era remakes, plus RE7 and 8, and now this game. 🫢 So as you can imagine, the franchise is just all over the place in the "I'm so confused" department. But the story is understandably hard to follow today, especially since they seem to move on to other things so many times in a trot, without clearing up things they already put in, in previous games, or movies. 😑

"Resident Evil: Requiem" sounds intriguing, and a rebuilt Raccoon City definitely sets the stage for another "Outbreak"! Fans would surely flock back for more classic survival horror. Let's hope the rumors are true!
