kingpotato Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 I was very surprised to hear that there was a StarCraft FPS being developed , but according to Kotaku the game was canceled so Blizzard could focus on Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2.

Damn I hope it was a joke, anyways its not like anything was expected from the game, maybe it was just going to be some generic FPS.

Haven't found anything substantial about that claim so I'm going to say it's fake but I think it was for the best that game wasn't released because it wouldn't be any different from most FPS games as you said.

They probably knew it wouldn't rival the success of Activision's Call Of Duty and on top of that, StarCraft games usually fall under the RTS genre and most of those players wouldn't be interested in it either.

True I dont think any FPS casual player will even know what Starcraft is about even less the lore of the game, shit even I dont know much about it I have only played it a couple of times

One of my friends love playing it and it probably is a somewhat fun game but it's not for me.
