Had to let him go

I lost one of my babies yesterday. My macaw, Dante. I had to let him go. With my disabilities, his constant screaming had gotten to the point where I ended up having a seizure a couple nights ago. That’s when it was decided that the bird had to go. I cried when the person who bought him came and got him, but I know it’s what’s best for him and me. Still, I’m going to miss him.

You did the best thing for him and yourself - at least you didn't have him put down like some other people have done and handed him over to people who will take great care of him.
