Shadow rocks in Twisted Metal 2. It's a hearse that launches some sort of skull special and it's powerful if you detonate it in time.

If I'm playing a basketball season with two minute quarters, I'll save after every two games. GT6 autosaves all the time, so I don't have much to worry about there.

I learned to be less clumsy holding my PlayStation discs when I badly scratched my Dukes of Hazzard: Racing for Home disc one mission short of completion. I know I've shared this at least once before, but it fits well in a lessons learned section.

Yeah, I used to play a lot of Nascar and Formula one games back in the day.
I used to snowboard on winter holidays as a kid but it's been a good while since I haven't done it. I want to plan a winter trip but Covid just keeps messing everything up.
Did you play NASCAR '99? I feel like that was the first good NASCAR PlayStation game. It had it's flaws, but not as many as earlier games.

Auto racing is a sport. If you don't believe me watch fall Martinsville '98 in the NASCAR Cup Series. Ricky Rudd ends up on a ventilator in victory lane.
-
I also have only been on a skateboard once, yet I played Tony Hawk games. I mostly played them to see scenery and hear Rock and Metal music. I've never been on a snowboard, but I sometimes play Cool Boarders 3.
-
Gran Turismo, because it taught me to complete video games.
-
Now I only skip intros on games I've played before.
-
My biggest regret was skipping intros, but that can be remedied by playing the next day.

My friend would kick or hit people in the family jewels too often playing wrestling games back in like 1999.
-
For racing games it could be missing certain tracks, or commentators, or cars and that could make me want to revisit a game.
-
Twisted Metal 4. It's so easy that you'll just blast your way through the levels.
-
No, I love my PS3.
-
I don't really play killing games other than Twisted Metal ones, but I don't see how I can apply my real life morals to TM.
-
I fried a PS3 once, but this was circa 2015 and IIRC I had no real warning when the console stopped reading discs. My second PS3 changes volumes sometimes, But I'm not afraid that it will die.

Like I said in another topic, NBA Live '05.
-
I won't mess with game difficulty, unless it's way too hard to play otherwise, like NBA Live '05.
-
I used a shortcut at the arena track in Super Trucks Racing. I still didn't complete the game though.
-
I know I'm going to sound like a broken record, but the GT6 Rome races calm me, so long as I have a strong enough car to not have to race real hard.
-
I liked that Test Drive loading screens had Pong.
-
Yeah, I mean besides Comedy Central and maybe Food Network, what cable channels have remained true to who they are?
-
Or straying from the topic of gaming, SyFi shows Gone in 60 Seconds sometimes. How is that Sci Fi? Real people have stolen cars.
-
Any NBA live Celtics game where I'm getting an epic amount of steals with just two minute quarters.
-
I wish I was better at dodging missiles and specials in Twisted Metal games.
What is the first game you became good at?

Either NBA Live '98 or Car and Driver Grand Tour Racing '98.
