In racing games it's annoying. One off-roading game I rented back when I went to Blockbuster had such a dark night race level that I rage quit. This was in '98 or '99 and I think it was TNN Hardcore Off-Road.

One reality that angers me but most probably won't change is the high cost of a console. Couldn't they make a console that can't connect to the internet or use Netflix, but just be a game console?

The only reason I don't play CDs while racing now is that the room I game in is right next to my dad's office in the house.

I don't know anything about the game itself, but maybe you have to beat the game on all the lower levels to even activate the option. I know some games are like that. Not all, I'm sure, but a good number of them are.
You could enter God Mode without beating the game first, but you had to press so many button combinations in like half a second. I liked the other way Twisted 2 did it better where there was a password screen and you type in the code there.

It means coming back from the brink of death.

Does anyone know why they made God Mode so hard to activate on Twisted Metal 2?

Has anyone tried playing GT games while listening to Deep Purple or Rainbow CDs. It rules. You really should try it.

I wish I had the ability to go to arcade mode with my dad's car and gain way faster cornering speed like in NASCAR Racing 2. Actually his car handles good, but it would still be fun to see.

I used to just constantly spin kick in Tekken. You'll win most of the time, but you'll come close to losing a friend. So it's not worth it.

Like rallying back from 25 points down to win a basketball game.

I mean the definition is definitely subjective.

Yeah, IO would think that if you're not playing that much percentage of a game, then you're not a hardcore gamer.

I used to get upset when people didn't like stuff I liked, but then I realized that the stuff I like may have some downsides and the question is whether or not you can live with those downsides. If not you'll pick something else.

Probably the most addicted I was to gaming was in my early 20's. I was pouring too much time into PC games and GT4. Luckily, I figured out balance around age 23.

I feel like I'm somewhere in between casual and hardcore.

One thing that definitely was a glitch and not my fault was when my car was leaving pit road in NASCAR '11 The Game and with about 500 feet to go on pit road my car magically transfers itself from the pit lane to the track. There's no way that was my fault.

Maybe the PS2 is my good luck charm.

What gen Camaro?

I know, I mean some company used to sell painted rocks to people as if they were "pets." That right there shows that corporate world doesn't care about you unless they get your money.

I only like NBA games from say, pre '04. Anything newer than that and you have to have a Phil Jackson (the guy who coached Jordan and Kobe) level basketball mind to play.

In my mind the best Youtube channels are not what are going to be popular, but contain heartfelt opinions about motorsports, Heavy Metal, or whatever.

It's a classic for me - me, my brother, cousin and my neighbours used to race each other all the time and see who was the best racer.
I've completed GT1, GT2, the completion meter was busted, but GT3 and GT6. GT4 I found too hard and GT5 had things that took too long for my amount of spare time like the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Yeah, the final gen Evos were cool, as all Evos are. I'm more of a Chevy fan, but I haven't turned a competitive lap in my life, I wish I could say that I had.
Where have you seen the influences of your favorite games elsewhere in pop culture?

There was a BMW ad that showed Gran Turismo footage to show the influence of the 3 Series.
