  1. On the Playstation dashboard I just have the defaults, with everything that was bloatware installed removed (ex; Sony Music). I kinda just want to maximize the space on the hard drive for games vs. applications, or other things that I would end up using on a different device or so.

  2. I highly prefer consoles, although some games I'll play on my PC (ex; Sims City, The Sims, or basically any PC only game). Never have been a huge fan of the mobile gaming scene since it seems like you end up just using a Bluetooth controller for your phone, and are limited by the screen size.

  3. I've played it, but I can't get used to the controls that you need to move around in flight in order to hit the ball correctly (even in those general games there are some serious pros that just show off). Kinda wish they had a better mode than the tutorial that they have since that kinda goes over the basics but not in-depth like you need to be at a level playing field with everyone else.

  4. I remember playing WoW years ago, back when they only gave you like a 72 hour free trial (before they changed it to the level cap now). It was a fun game, but I never had any friends who were deeply into it which you kind of need to do a lot of aspects (and the $10/mo was pricey back in the day compared to other game's membership costs that were/are $5/mo).

  5. I don't believe so, it has a big esport following, and it seems to be good for EA, who normally does trash at multiplayer/big games outside of sports games. I'll be curious how they can keep the hype going, without having people drop off like Fortnite when they kept changing things as they did so frequently and modifying the way items/aspects worked in the game.

  6. I play it every so often, kinda just do my own thing or just do races. A lot of the game is really just kinda boring now or people just going at it with the best weapons/equipment in game which kinda ruins the fun of just exploring or hanging out with friends only.

  7. I've had a few friends who were game testers here in Phoenix before a studio shutdown. They said it's a fun job, but a lot of stress and a lot of issues that the developers/publisher can't fix so you end up having to test sections over and over again once they release new versions/builds (sometimes daily), and make sure you try everything possible that a player would (going out of bounds, dragging monsters out, etc.).

  8. I would say it might be a hybrid environment. The issue is that too many people still prefer disc games due to being able to play offline, and also not having to worry about trying to sell them or let a friend or so borrow them. Buying online makes a bunch of sense too, but a good example is the PS5 - you couldn't really have every game you wanted to be installed at once without having to download the huge game files if you run out of space, but with a disc, you can avoid the internet speed and data needed by restoring it from the game file on the disc.

  9. I think it really just depends on the funding that the studio gets, not so much on finding workers. The biggest issue is really due to timelines, sometimes they are super tight (Cyberpunk) and you end up with a half-finished game or a game that legit doesn't work without huge patches (which should have been what it was on release).

It's sad too since a lot of those games could have been re-released or at least given a good remaster, since the communities 100% loved them but hated what EA did to change the game once they took over.

Can't go wrong with the likes of Left 4 Dead. I play that with friends from time to time.

I also hear the new Outlast game is coop, but I don't know when it comes out. I think they're doing an open beta right now, so that may be a good thing to check out.

10/10, probably the best multiplayer horror related game out there that still stands this day in terms of gameplay in my eyes.

  12. I've played it a few times, the graphics are really good for a mobile game and the fact that it's basically the same game on consoles/PC is a huge plus in my eyes.
