Honestly he deserves to be mocked, it's a game it's not real. The hateful posts he allows on his platform are real, and do real damage to minorities. He's just jumping on this bandwagon to get more brownie points from the right who oppose violent video games, especially ones like GTA. He's probably a person who puts the blame on violent media for how certain people act when video games do not cause violence.

Exactly my thoughts, the fact that I shoot cops does not mean I would get a gun and start doing the same in reality. It’s a game, he just took it too far. The police are being shot at in movies, I wonder what he has to say to that.

This would have been me as a kid. I remember ignoring what was going on in class and drawing in my notebook the video game characters from the games I was currently playing.

I can also remember, as a young kid, being so into a boss fight that I was resisting going to the bathroom and wouldn't pause the game to do so. Unfortunately that ended with a shower and a change of clothes.

Yeah, I was addicted then. A bit easy for a kid. Someone should have regulated my game time back in those days.

Have we all not experienced this as kids? There was a time I missed school just to stay at home and play. Parents were out of town for a week, I woke up one morning and loaded the game instead of preparing for school.
School called my parents that I was absent and I can never forget the discipline I received. That experience still being smiles to my face whenever I remember it.

Sometimes. It depends on the game.

I get excited to play games when a new season comes out, new features come out in a game or if a new game gets released.

The excitement has changed a lot for me as when I was younger, I was never too excited about games.

So you mean you are more excited now than when you were younger? That means you have a way of keeping yourself engaged and immersed, maybe that is what I actually lost. I do miss the old days though.

  4. Perhaps due to absence of responsibility, or the novelty of gaming, I would be so excited to play Prince of Persia after school, and then the next day we boys would gather together and discuss it at length.

Or is it the thrill of gathering to play multiplayer games?
Even the thought of having a game waiting for you can have me excited throughout the day.
But I don’t get those anymore. Maybe I have grown so used to it, hence the lesser excitement. Or there are bills to sort out now.

If you were to compare now to when you were a teenager, do you still get the same excitement you got then?

  5. How do you treat sore thumbs?

We are on break for the festive season already, so yesterday I played different games throughout. NFS, Winning Eleven, GTA…

Later in the night I felt pain on my right thumb, and it’s quite sensitive. I can barely use it to do anything till this present moment.
Has it happened to you before? How does it heal quickly?

I have mixed feelings about it. Games can help you reduce stress or increase it especially if its in the horror genre. It can be frustrating and agitating trying to find a way to progress.

That is true as well. But what is the point in playing a game where you are stuck? There is this sense of achievement I get when I complete a mission or level. In that sense, if all had been going wrong the whole day that can help me feel better.

  7. There is a reason even developers seek gamers suggestions on released games. Their aim is to satisfy us. In a situation where the majority have the same complaints then they will know where they went wrong.
Most times it is not about the producers or manufacturers, it is all about the end users. So developers need to work with these ones in mind and not just on what they feel is right.

  8. There is a clear difference between the two, you will know when you use both. Curved monitors reduces eye strain and provides a more natural field of view for the human eye. So if your pocket allows it you can go for it.
You will surely get your money’s worth.

  9. I use google. Brave was introduced to me because it is an avenue to earn money as well, but I just didn’t feel it. I’m now so used to google that any other browser does not feel right.
