  1. Witcher 3 was always the game that stood out for me with it's world and NPCs. It felt like stories were happening all around you with the amount of weird encounters you would come across. like all the NPCs were just out living their lives. Not nearly as impressive or complicated but Shenmue also had a similar feel.
  2. Lord of the Rings Extended Trilogy - 9/10 Bought the 4k boxset the other day as I'd never seen the extended editions of the LOTR movies. I enjoyed them. Yes maybe a bit long but some of the extended stuff did a good job fleshing out the story.
  3. Unless it's comics then I'm mostly a Kindle reader these days so I tend to buy a lot of 99p offer books. Haven't really used a library since I was a kid.
  4. I'd probably have to go with Persona 4. I played the original on PS2 then Golden on Vita and I'm in the middle of replaying Golden on the Steam Deck at the moment. I got into it when Giant Bomb were doing their Endurance Run series on it and just became obsessed.
  5. Probably not a shock given my avatar but the first one that popped into my head when I read the thread title was the 90s Spider-Man animated series. Loved it as a kid!
  6. Yeah great game. I've just been a Spider-Man fan all my life though. Own way too many of the comics etc as well! I ended up coming across the forum from an article on the biggest gaming forums on the net. I was on Resetera but left a few years ago when they started to show more and more that they couldn't see past any of their own opinions. There was no room for discussion.
  7. I've had my Steam Deck for a few months now and really love it. Pretty much revitalised my interest in PC gaming as I was finding it harder and harder to drag myself up to my PC desk to play at my actual machine. I did order the dock for it this week but cancelled it for now. I expect I'll still get one eventually but with money tight it didn't seem like the smartest of purchases, especially as the reason I like the Deck so much is for playing it portably.
  8. Hi everyone. New to the forum so just wanted to check in and introduce myself. I'm 37 and from England. Massive geek and been gaming for most of my life. Looking forward to chatting with all of you.
