In 10 years, gaming will likely be more immersive with advancements in virtual reality and augmented reality. There will be further integration of cloud gaming, AI-driven gameplay, and seamless cross-platform experiences. Esports will continue to grow in popularity, and gaming will become even more accessible and mainstream.

Seeing how far gaming has come over the last 10 years, I can firmly believe a lot of this we should expect to see in 10 years time. Not going to lie, I am excited to see just how far gaming has gotten in 10 years time, will be interesting to see and look back to now.

  2. As much as I do like to see good graphics when it comes to a game, I will admit that I do not feel them to be too important and I am more concerned about the game and how good it plays or how good the game is as a whole over the graphics.

You could have a game with great graphics but has a terrible storyline or gameplay and that can be off putting no matter how good the graphics are.

  3. It would seem that rumours were running crazy regarding the Halloween battle pass which I too was excited for but I am now hearing that it may not be the case and we may not be getting a Halloween battle pass.

This is a shame as many of us were expecting to see one much like we have seen one for Star Wars and also for Hero Academia. We still have everything else we normally get for Fortnitemares but the battle pass no one is sure of now.

  4. I last played Roblox a few nights ago to chill before bed. Noticed that some games are already updated for Halloween and I love to play the games that have Halloween updates this time of year 🙂

I grew up playing the original Game Boy. But that pea soup green and lack of actual light to play it on was a problem. The biggest problem though, was the rate at which it went through batteries. For that reason alone, I now play on the GBASP. Because I can just plug it in and recharge it.

I remember oh so well just how bad the original Game Boy was when it came to running through batteries and the screen being a huge problem. Always remember my parents buying me and my brothers a gadget that clipped onto the Game Boy which was a magnifier and also a light so we would still see the screen even when it was dark say on trips in the car, that too also ate up batteries which was a pain.

If I was to get one, I would wait a while they address some of the design flaws, such as the overheating. The only thing I know about it is that it uses a USB-C cable instead of the cable that Apple products have always used. Which would kinda piss me off as we have had to buy several of them over the years.

Unless I am mistaken, didn't they have to change the cables that were used due EU regulations?

A pain if you have been buying certain cables for a while and now you have to make the change.

    Boy Meets Boy

Those are the modern(ish) shows that come to mind for me. There are several 80's shows that I would list, but could never be matched. Also in today's political climate, it would be hard to even do the shows justice as they would be overly limited. Especially shows like Alf.

Agreed. I often look back at old TV shows that we used to get and some of the things you see done or said in them, you know would never pass nowadays without scrutiny and complaints.

It's a shame as I feel so many TV shows now are dumbed down because of fear of what someone may say.

I've been having only one gamer tag name since the time I started playing games. I have no plans of changing it and would continue to use it forever probably. 🙂

It's not very often we see someone who is able to say they have never changed their gamertag and have no plans to change it 🙂 I must have changed mine around 4 times now and have stuck with the one I have now for quite a few years now.

  9. I last played Fortnite again. Very much excited for the Fortnitemares event again this year and hoping it's as fun as it has been in previous years.

Managed to get my 4th crown win this season which I believe is my highest so far aside from when every win classed as a crown royale.

  10. If you had of asked me a few years ago who the mascot for PlayStation was I would have said without a second thought, Crash Bandicoot.

Now I would have to say Kratos would be the first person I would think of when it comes to PlayStation and would seem more of a mascot now.

I feel like Tetris Effect was pretty popular when it came out. I personally love Tetris, I've played a tooon of Tetris Worlds for the GBA on my handheld emulator. Hours of addicitve fun!

It can be really addictive but can also be stressful and rage inducing as well I always used to think. Tetris 99 definitely does give you that feeling when you are trying to keep going to be the last one standing.

This song I will not lie was a good one. I have listened to many releases from Miley Cyrus and whilst some were okay and I could tolerate them, others were not so good and I ended up passing on them.

Flowers though she did amaze me with that one and it seems many really enjoyed this release from her.

  13. I honestly have never watched an Avatar movie but I always hear so many people say how great the movies are and that they would recommend them if you are looking for something to watch in terms of a movie.

I may have to find some time to watch the movies so I can check this one out.

Anyone who has seen this release, would you recommend it?

I have an iPhone 11, so I'm a little far behind on the versions available. I would love to own an iPhone 15 Pro, but I'm sure I'd have to save up quite a bit of money to buy one. The smartphone technology just keeps amazing me more and more with every passing year.

My daughter is also on the iPhone 11 at the moment and she is happy with it and finds it does everything she needs it to.

I find the iPhone devices to be quite a lot of money, I believe this one, the lowest price is around £700 unless I am mistaken which is a lot for a phone.

My way of looking at it is, if the phone you have still does everything you need it to, it's better to wait to upgrade than do it right away.

When my old ones needed cleaning, I took them apart, put all the keys and the frame in the dishwasher but left the electrical components on my desk. I would let the frame and keys dry overnight, then put it all back together. The keyboard I have now, I wouldn't be able to do that with. I wish I could.

I never actually thought to do anything like that and to be honest, would have been worried that the keys would have got lost in the dishwasher.

This is good to know though as sometimes, the keys can be the most difficult to clean with them being so small and a dishwasher has the ability to get access to areas we may struggle with.

Pokemon GO is my favorite free-to-play game on mobile devices.

On PC, my favorite free-to-play game would probably be World of Tanks Blitz, which I have also downloaded and played on mobile devices before.

Pokemon Go I have to admit is a great game and it gets people active as well as long as they are aware of their surroundings it can be a fun time either on your own or with friends and family.

Do you download anything on your PC to be able to play apps? I know that Bluestacks is a great one to use and I have used in the past myself for mobile apps and have found it easier to play them on the PC rather than on a mobile.

I mainly check the weather app daily on my iPhone to see what the weather will be like in our area. I don't necessarily follow severe weather seeing as we usually get alerts when there is extreme weather in our area.

Do you find the weather alerts that come through to your phone to be pretty stable? They were testing this in the UK as they wanted to move from sirens when there was a weather alert or danger to life alert due to the weather to alerts on phones but a lot of people never received the test alert.
