  1. On the other hand, the game that left me feeling the best was without a doubt Outer Wilds. It may not be a game for everyone. It has no combat, if you are looking for action and adrenaline it will bore you. It does not have inventory, nor levels, nor do you gain new abilities, you always have the same. But if you're looking for a space exploration game, it's the best, better than No Man's Sky, and much better than the Mass Effect trilogy, which is good (except for the ending 🤣) but its space exploration leaves much to be desired. The design of Outer Wilds seems spectacular to me and is very interesting from start to finish. It's a game where yu give a space ship, and the game don't tell you what to do, where to go, or give you objectives. You have to be the one to solve the mystery, talking to people and finding information while you travel. The game doesn't use any of those tricks to psychologically manipulate and hook you, the interest in discovering what else is in that world is genuine. The game also has a great story that you discover. The game runs in 20-odd minute loops. During that time, things will happen in different parts of the world, regardless of whether you are there to see it or not. There are areas that are destroyed and inaccessible if you are late, others that you can only access at specific times of the loop. I liked it because the game develops organically, but of course, if you have already explored most of the game and you are missing things that you know are on a planet, but you do not know where or at what point in the loop they are accessible, it can become somewhat tedious. In short: I thought it was the best I've ever played, but because of its particularities, not everyone will like it. It's not a game for everyone.
  2. The Mass Effect 3 ending. Because of how bad it seemed to me basically. Carrying my save game through 3 games and making multiple decisions so none of it matters and the end is picking 1 of 3 colors. Above Casey Hudson said that the end would not be to choose a, b or c. Well, it wasn't choosing a, b or c. Was choosing blue, red or green 🤣 I liked the games, but the end of 3 was very bad. They could have made the indoctrination theory canon and it would have been much better, but with the free dlc of the "fixed ending" it was confirmed that it was not canon. I'm not going to explain the ending because there is no spoiler tag, but it didn't make any sense and it took all the interest out of the villains and the history.
  3. for money, like almost everything. Zidane was decisive for the World Cup to be held there and he already admitted that he received money from Qatar. https://www.arabianbusiness.com/industries/sport/zidane-was-paid-15m-support-qatar-bid-report-365745 Anyway. Seeing the nonsense that the Anglo press says about Argentina. I hope Argentina wins the World Cup and takes over the Falklands. https://www.washingtonpost.com/made-by-history/2022/12/08/why-doesnt-argentina-have-more-black-players-world-cup/ Someone should tell this journalist that there were black conquistadors such as Juan Valiente, that slavery was much less in Spanish territories, that laws were made to protect them, or just talk about Fort Mose. If there are many fewer blacks in Argentina than in Brazil or the USA, it is because many fewer were taken there. Because Spain was the colonial power that practiced slavery the least.
  4. If you are from Venezuela or another country with a totally destroyed economy. Yes, you can live from farming in games and sell what you farm for real money. Because even if you earn a pittance in dollars, that can be a salary in your country. But in any country with a functioning economy you cannot. NFTs are a pyramidal system, the game currency is generated by playing but this continuous increase in the money supply generates inflation, which makes the system only viable if the number of players continues to increase, when the game loses popularity, which it will happen sooner rather than later, it happens in all games, the value of the NFT drops and if you didn't sell on time you will not only not make money but you may even lose money. Of course, if you can predict when the peak will come to buy when it was cheap and sell before the fall, yes, you can make money, but if you can do that you would be speculating with cryptos, forex or daytrading. The people who live from playing do so with earnings outside of the games, such as youtubers, streamers, sponsored e-sports teams, etc. Except Venezuelans and people of some other country that has a destroyed economy.
  5. As long as people pay, no. People complain that they release unfinished games, but still buy them on release day. People complain about microtransactions but FIFA Ultimate Team microtransactions generate more profits than the game itself. https://metro.co.uk/2019/07/25/ultimate-team-microtransactions-now-make-money-fifa-10461286/ Videogames are made by companies that seek to maximize profit, if you complain but buy it, it's useless, because what matters to them are sales. If people keep buying, why change it?
  6. This is standardized yet. For years, more than a decade. Bethesda games are legendary at this. Oblivion had parts that made you lose your saved game, because you were locked in a house and couldn't get out, and if you saved there, bye bye saved game. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/924363-the-elder-scrolls-iv-oblivion/46947593 And funny things such as these: Skyrim came out full of bugs but playable, except on PS3 which had a bug that made your save unplayable over time: https://kotaku.com/do-not-let-skyrim-overflow-your-ps3-5859983 Solution? Don't buy in release day, wait for the GOTY version. It will come with the finished game and all the DLCs included.

    Hi guys

Hi. I like sandbox and open world exploration games. It relaxes me to go around the map doing quests, collecting and crafting things and discovering things, trying to survive or make the goal to beat the game. I don't consider myself a "hardcore gamer" because I play an hour and a half a week and I'm not up to date on what's new. But I usually pass the games in the maximum difficulty or the previous one if it's excessive, so I would not consider myself a casual. If I had to say my 7 favorite games they would be, in order from best to worst: Outer Wilds, Subnautica, Bellow Zero, The Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, The Long Dark and Green Hell. How did I find this forum? Just googling "video games forum" My first video game was "Pokemon Sapphire" for Game Boy Advance.
