One of my favorite RPG's as a child was Chrono Trigger

BTW, Chrono Trigger was in the news this week, with a remake being teased....

A Chrono Trigger revamp in the same vein as what Square has done with FF7 Remake/Rebirth would be freaking amazing!

Even though music doesn't necessarily make or break a game as you stated, but when your experience in a game is messed up because of one thing or another (music), the game have been broken for the gamer indirectly in my opinion.

I will say that the game I am currently playing, the music is a tad loud, and it's hard to hear the dialogue. I'm gonna dive into the audio settings and see if I can't turn up the voices or turn down the score.

Are any of these on your bucket list, lol?

While "Final Fantasy 7" may be the most anticipated game, it's far from the only one people are excited about.

    Feb. 2:

    • "Persona 3 Reload" - PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC
    • "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leage" - PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC

    Feb. 8:

    • "Helldivers 2" - PS5, PC

  4. I've been buying digitally for a while now, but I would like to get back into CDs.

My son is big on collecting vinyl. I can't believe records made a comeback. The art they are able to put on the records themselves these days is pretty sweet. Back in the day it was just black with a label in the middle.

  5. I downloaded Unreal Engine and was going to learn it, but it was intimidating - plus I don't really have the time to dedicated to it. When my regular business is slow I get bored and come up with creative ideas that don't always pan out, lol.

  6. Microsoft Cuts 1,900 Jobs in Its Video Game Division

The reductions come three months after the tech giant completed its $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard.

Microsoft said Thursday that it would eliminate 1,900 roles in its video game division, including at Activision Blizzard, which it acquired for $69 billion three months ago.

The job cuts will be made at the video game giant Activision, the maker of hit games like Call of Duty and Guitar Hero, as well as Xbox, according to a staff memo from Phil Spencer, the head of Microsoft Gaming, that was obtained by The New York Times.

The cuts amount to a reduction of nearly 9 percent of Microsoft’s 22,000-person video game team.

“Looking ahead, we’ll continue to invest in areas that will grow our business and support our strategy of bringing more games to more players around the world,” Mr. Spencer said in the memo.

Microsoft, which is neck-and-neck with Apple as the world’s largest public company, completed its acquisition of Activision Blizzard in October after a year of regulatory hurdles.

The head of Activision Blizzard, Mike Ybarra, also announced on the social media platform X that Thursday would be his last day at the company.

“Having already spent 20+ years at Microsoft and with the acquisition of Activision Blizzard behind us, it’s time for me to (once again) become Blizzard’s biggest fan from the outside,” Mr. Ybarra wrote.

Microsoft did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

I remember you saying it was available on Netflix

I think Godzilla Minus One is still in theatres so I don't imagine it's available for streaming yet. But it has been out for a while so it shouldn't be too much longer. You're gonna love it.

The American made Godzilla and Godzilla/Kong movies have been done well too. But this one hits those nostalgic feels because it's made by Toho and the Japanese Godzilla is modeled different than the U.S. Godzilla.

  8. More polarized.

Back in the day, there may have been that one friends dad who was a bit crazy about politics, always watching the talking heads on TV. After listening to him ramble for a bit, you just moved on and played with your friends and thought to yourself "thank god that guy doesn't have a platform to broadcast his voice on".

Today, thanks to social media, everyone has a platform and everyone is trying to make their voice heard, including many people who should keep silent.
