Not really - there are plenty of turn-based RPGs for mobile platforms. If I remember correctly, I think there's a mobile version of doom. Also, there are emulators for Android.
Old doom is also recloned and recloned a lot of times. I just don't know if modern doom can be run on android.

This is what I've been saying for the longest time that most of the app stores for Android lack proper vetting methods for apps unlike Apple who carefully vet each app before it can be placed on their store. Plenty of malicious apps have been uploaded to the Google App store in recent years.
Yeah most of the 3rd party stores add the listing to make the money. And it seems like it is working for some of them.

Kind of like they created the ecosystem where their own people can game it and make the money too. So it seems like pretty bad direction that is going on so far.

It's true though - most studios that EA has acquired are either on life support like Bioware or are already shutdown and dissolved. EA are bad at everything else except milking their own customers.
Yeah kind of like their development is stopped and mostly importing some of the outsourced type of the content and then release the games. Kind of like rip off.

It's not like I play NBA 2k or most of their other games for that matter so I'm not spending $70 on their garbage. In a pandemic, why do they feel the need to increase games to $70?
They have honestly found the upper middle class spending on microtransactions and those sort of games that support it. It must be their data helping them for it.

COD Mobile
in Mobile
COD on mobile and on PC both are different though. And in fact playing the mobile on PC kind of gives you edge with the mouse.

I mostly have the MOBA and some of the puzzle games. I have noticed that there are some good board games but they seem to have a lot of ads.
-
Free and some paid games both can be found without ads and the micro transactions. It is just that it is not easy to find them.

Yes everybody is buying asus laptops with the ryzen processors. I think the intel and ryzen competiting under same brand can be fun to look at as well.
-
Indeed they are good laptops. I loved TUF series from the ASUS. I think zephyrus is definitely good but intel processor and not having i9 can be pretty bad.

I have seen mostly the paid and the free ones with a lot of spammy apps. I mean even the xiamo's and huwei's stores are badly big. and spammy apps is what is worst about it.

My experience with 17 inch so far has been good. I have enojyed playing games on it. and also I am developing one game for some learning small stuff and big resolution is always a good plus.

I did check them out before I went for an L-Shaped desk because the L-shaped desk serves my needs better. I work from home as well but it allows me to have all my computers in one area so that I can use that extra space for something else.
Yeah the shaped desks and the chairs can be a good option. I have thought of the standing desks as an option though not sure about it being long term fix though.

Samsung already have a very flexible display that they were working on but they said it won't be out for a few years at least. Paper-like displays won't start popping up until around 2025 at least so that's somewhat of a long wait.
Yeah that could be the case but considering china and others got entire 2020 for innovation which could definitely from what I have seen.

I'm not even interested in going down this path again. I need my money so every bit counts so I won't spend my money outside of buying a game.
Yeah buying brand new game and then paying for small items inside can be pretty bad.

In some chinese brands like oppo, xiaomi they are designed to make the performance go down in 1 and half years. So they force that on us as well.

ROG is not acer phone but Asus phone. Only issue the ROG phones are facing is the heat specific stuff. Though I am not sure how that goes for the near future if they continue to improve. they could replace blackshark.

Microsoft isn't much exclusive anymore. they are making Linux and mac based software too. so they wont be closing the gates like the apple does now a days.
-
Monster hunter update and few other games releasing this year I think it would be good to wait. I am not sure of PS 5 titles because I keep track on the mobile and the switch games mostly.
-
I think it can be stressful too if you try it. online games can be only good if you play something like ludo, chess, and sudoku like games those are fun.
-
Definitely try it. I am sure you have heard of limbo game. this one is on similar lines except the nigtmares has pretty good theme as underground lighthouse trail.
-
I don't think EA would be touching it. and it does not like their cup of tea either. someone who has experience of star wars, marvel and silent hill type of game development experience can do this.

I wonder if this is the reason why the asus and the msi have not picked this particular one for their builds?
