killamch89 Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 This is a review of HP's updated Omen 15 with Ryzen 5800 processor and RTX 3070 GPU. It comes with 16 GB Of DDR5 RAM and 1 TB of NVME SSD storage. He's tested it in several games and appears that it's performance is in the ball park of its competitors. Let me know your thoughts about this device.
skyfire Posted May 9, 2021 Posted May 9, 2021 Specs are good. Though I don't trust the HP due to it's performance issues. I think another thing about the HP omen seems to be sticking with Ryzen.. I wonder making Intel i9 would also boost their demand.

Actually, switching over to AMD will probably create more demand because Omen laptops have always been Intel-based but they chose to go with the better processor.
skyfire Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 Yeah this could means they have to also get rid of the heat issues otherwise the less number of people would be going over to them. But yeah its good to see more AMD for a change.
