Each month that has gone by the amount of units sold has been dropping. Q4 or 2023, Sony only sold 325,000 units of the PSVR 2. Not a good sign when the Meta Quest 3 sold 1.3M units during their Q4 of 2023. It doesn't help any when they chose not to make any of the first PSVR's games backwards compatible, as another problem is the limited amount of games on the new headset. So, Sony is not producing more product until this backlog is sold off. Maybe this could mean a price drop is coming soon. There is also rumors of them supporting PC as well, so if and when that happens, I expect more people to hop on then. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Besides, VR gaming still hasn't caught on with the masses so VR headsets aren't going to be in demand as most games still don't utilize the technology.
