The only old-person habit I have adopted is working hard. I know it and it is really a fact that hard work pays off. These days people are scared of working hard and try to find shortcuts to make a living but that doesn't work.

It's true but you do have to work smarter as well and manage your time properly. Otherwise, you exhaust yourself.

Knowing that the music I listened to as a kid was a million times better than the shit kids call music today. In the 80's we had bands like Cinderella, Faster Pussycat, REO Speedwagon, Bon Jovi, and so on. That was real music.

I agree with you. I don't listen to a lot of modern music. It's so generic, tasteless and boring. All they talk about is sex, money, drugs and violence. I miss the artists who could tell stories using their music like Tupac, Nas and others of that era.
