Let's Play A Game: Banish A Word From The English Language

Imagine you had the power to erase one word from the English language forever. Which word would you choose and why? This should be a very interesting one - I'd like to hear your thoughts.

I don’t know if this counts, but there are a couple ethnic slurs that I would rip my tongue out long before I would ever say. They will never come out of my mouth for any reason.

If slurs and other offensive language don’t count for this topic, then I’ll have to think on it.

If I had the power to erase one word from the dictionary, I would remove the word 'dictionary' as the person should know what it is as he or she is using it.
