Games that didn’t meet your expectations, but which you liked anyway?

Did you ever play a game that failed to meet your expectations or hopes, but which overall, you still enjoyed and would play again?

I was disappointed with some aspects of Fallout 4 during its original release but I've thoroughly gone on to enjoy it especially modding it to the max. It was money well spent.

Absolutely! I felt let down by No Man's Sky initially, but updates improved it. Now, I appreciate its exploration and creativity.

Of course, No Man’s Sky let me down at the beginning due to the absence of multiplayer and some elements. But, with the updates, it became a huge and so exciting.

I didn’t feel that, Andromeda met the standards of the original trilogy, however, the game surprises me  through combat, characters and exploration. The capability of the game was greater than its demerits.

I was angry at first with the narrative of Fallout 76 due to it bad storytelling and having no human non-playable characters. However, its enormous open environment, the way it was controlled, and social components keep me engaged after paying more attention to the game.
