Video games with beautiful messages?

What are some video games you’ve played that you felt had something beautiful to say?

Wow! This is a very interesting thread. I’d say Life is Strange is a game that really resonated with me. This game deals with some heavy themes and they’re just mind blowing. The themes like depression, suicide, and identity are all embedded.

I think *Journey* beautifully captures connection and self-discovery through its stunning visuals and minimal dialogue..

I have some of them in my mind. They are Life is Strange, What Remains of Edith Finch, Firewatch are games that tell very powerful narratives about identity, family, and connection.

I’d say Outer Wilds. It’s a game about curiosity, learning, and the inevitability of change. It doesn’t just present these ideas as a narrative, but builds them into how you play and explore the world. I found its message about impermanence both humbling and beautiful.
