The Blackangel Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 No one is a fan of every single creature on earth. This isn’t a phobia or thing that happened while you were high/drunk. It has to be a sober, hate. For me it’s flamingos. I hate them. We were at the San Diego zoo several years ago, and they have a spot where you can get a bit of food and feed them. We were doing that and several were coming up. Well I was feeding one and the bastard bit me! I hollered and ended up dropping the food into the water. Ever since then, I’ve hated flamingos.
killamch89 Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Goose - I've never had any encounters with one but I've constantly seen them attack people and other animals without any kind of provocation. In Brazil, they use them as a deterrent to prison escapees and you know that Brazil has some of the most dangerous criminals housed in their prisons.
Ravenfreak Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 I absolutely hate spiders and most insects. Especially spiders though, I've always been afraid of them and I hate when they end up invading my space. I live in Missouri, and we get brown recluse spiders. I've killed a few this year, one bit my grandma once when I was a young kid. She thankfully went to the hospital before it could get infected. killamch89 1
The Blackangel Posted October 16, 2024 Author Posted October 16, 2024 I’m a MO native too, and those damn things are everywhere. Another we have to deal with here in my area is black widows. Beautiful to look at, but otherwise I don’t want a damn thing to do with them.

I have a spider in the corner of my house and he kills roaches and all that other stuff so I leave him be. Poisonous ones are definitely a no-no but the harmless ones, just manage the population and you'll be okay.
The Blackangel Posted October 17, 2024 Author Posted October 17, 2024 There was a time that I actually bought a bunch of spiders and turned them loose in my house. I don’t remember what kind they were, but I do remember that they were harmless to humans. They killed and ate every unwanted bug that came into my house so it was a win win for all involved.

That's the reason I have that one in my house. It doesn't cause any trouble gets rid of a lot of the bugs in my house.
