Heatman Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 What do you think about Citizen's arrest? I know that laws differ from one country to another which might make the executing of Citizen's arrest not a uniform act. Would you be willing or not to take part in Citizen's arrest when there's a situation going down?
killamch89 Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 In some countries like my own, Citizen's arrest is basically impossible because of the nature of the people you face. It's kill or be killed most times.
Bizdustry Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 We don’t call it citizens arrest. In the UK, people refer to it as such but it’s known as any other persons arrest powers. This is outlined under S24A Pace that gives any other persons certain arrest powers when an offence is being or has been committed.

We have something like that in our country but the practicality of it in ours isn't there so you either are good enough at hand-to-hand combat to restrain someone or you might have to go the vigilante justice route. Law enforcement is pretty useless where I'm from.
