Whether it's fixing a joystick, addressing input issues, or dealing with a malfunctioning console, how did your repair experience go? Any tips or challenges you ran into?

All things considered, it’s pretty difficult to repair them. The electrical components, like capacitors and resistors, have changed so much that it’s hard to find parts for a damn near 50 year old system.

I could imagine. I mean, trying to find some parts for an Xbox 360 a few years ago and I struggled to find parts for it.

I had a mixed experience with repairing my old console. The joystick replacement was a breeze, but the input issues required some trial-and-error troubleshooting. Tip: always refer to the manual and online resources for troubleshooting guides.
