killamch89 Posted January 7, 2025 Posted January 7, 2025 We all have something that keeps us up at night - whether it's a personal, existential, or irrational fear. What’s your biggest fear? Is it something that feels out of your control, like losing a loved one, or something more abstract, like failing at your goals? I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts. How do you cope with these fears, or have you learned to overcome them?
The Blackangel Posted January 8, 2025 Posted January 8, 2025 (edited) There’s two things that I’ve been terrified of my entire life. Getting diabetes and/or Alzheimer’s. Both seem to run in my family. I don’t want to get to a point where I don’t recognize the people I know best. I don’t want to have to count calorie intake or amounts of this and that in my food. killamch89 Posted January 8, 2025 Author Posted January 8, 2025 After having three near-death incidents, two of them by illness and one of them coming within seconds of death, I'm not really worried about anything anymore.
Knight Barida Posted January 9, 2025 Posted January 9, 2025 I don't want to die poor. I know that there is a lot of impact that I am going to make in life. So, staying or living like a poor man scares the most out of my life.
