StaceyPowers Posted January 11, 2025 Posted January 11, 2025 I love Bioware games, but their fights lasting 40 minutes to an hour sometimes drives me crazy. While there are tactical elements at play, what makes the fights so lengthy usually just comes down to spongey enemies. Who is the target market for these types of repetitious, fatiguing fights? I’m curious to hear from people who enjoy them how you would describe their appeal.
killamch89 Posted January 11, 2025 Posted January 11, 2025 I feel you! Long, spongey fights can feel like a test of patience rather than skill. I think some players enjoy the sense of endurance or the tactical depth that these fights can offer, but I personally prefer shorter, more dynamic encounters that demand quick thinking.
Scorpion Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 I appreciate Bioware's depth, but lengthy battles can be exhausting. The appeal could stem from strategic planning and team dynamics, perhaps.
