Have you ever encountered a game that you just couldn’t beat, despite your best efforts? What challenges or obstacles did you face that made it so difficult? Returnal on PS5 defeated me completely. The combination of bullet-hell dodge mechanics, roguelike progression, and multi-hour run lengths meant that failing late in a run was so demoralizing that I couldn't bring myself to start over again after my fifth straight loss to the second biome boss.

Cuphead would be my game that I have had and could not complete. I remember seeing so many playing the game on live streams and knowing the kind of game it was and how difficult it was, when I saw it in sale, I snagged it. 

I played it for around half an hour before rage quitting and not going back. I do still have the game should I ever want to try again.

Yes, and that was Skyrim. Unfortunately some of the missions I had to use YouTube for tutorials. I’ve got unfortunately stuck and the last option was to look at content creators to see how they did it
