User‑generated content has become a cornerstone of modern games, from level editors to sandbox building. How do you feel about the role of player creativity in shaping a game’s world? Explore titles like Minecraft, Dreams, or Super Mario Maker, where community creations redefine core experiences. What responsibilities do developers have in supporting creativity - robust tools, moderation, or co‑creation platforms? How does player‑driven world‑building influence longevity, monetization, and community engagement?

Player creativity is vital.  It breathes life into a game's world,  making it more than a pre-defined space.  Their choices, actions, and interpretations add layers of meaning and experience.

I love that we have player creativity in gaming and it seems to be a lot more prominent now too. There is nothing better than a new lease of life on a game and being able to create your own world within a game so to speak.

I would love to see more video games that offer player creativity.

Player creativity exists on a spectrum between guided expression and true authorship. Games like Dreams or Minecraft offer genuine world-creation, while something like Ghost of Tsushima provides creative expression through curated photography modes. I'm most drawn to games that establish a coherent foundation but leave room for player-driven narrative possibilities.
