Knight Barida Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 There are a lot of factors that should be considered when getting a new device, and getting a smart watch should be treated in the same range as well. What are the factors that you look at before buying a smart watch?
Kennysplash Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 The battery. I can’t even stress that enough, I once used one that lasts only 45 minutes, it was horrible. Though they made me understand that it was an error from the company.

Using any device such as a smart watch that the battery last only 45 minutes is a total waste of money. I can imagine how angry and disappointed that you were when you discovered the watch has that kind of issue.
killamch89 Posted May 9, 2025 Posted May 9, 2025 Battery life is my absolute priority since a dead smartwatch is just an expensive bracelet. I need at least 3-4 days between charges or it becomes another daily chore. My Garmin Instinct lasts nearly two weeks, which makes fitness tracking actually sustainable rather than something I abandon after a month of charging frustration.
