Kane99 Posted May 5 Share Posted May 5 Gears of War: Reloaded is a new remaster that was built from the ground up. And not only is it coming out for Xbox consoles, it's also releasing for the PS5. And it comes out August 26th. No news on whether it will release on the Switch 2, but maybe down the line we'll see a Switch 2 release. This August 26th release is a smart move by Microsoft—expanding their flagship franchises while keeping cash flowing. The ground-up rebuild should fix those dated mechanics from the original. I'm curious if they'll modernize the cover system or keep it authentic. Switch 2 version would be impressive technically if they manage it later on. I love how they are now making more games available on all consoles rather than just keeping them exclusives, it gives everyone a chance to play their games regardless of their preferred console.
