Shortie Posted May 15, 2025 Posted May 15, 2025 Over the years that I have used Nintendo's online services, I have found that the service has been smooth and I have been happy with the perks I receive for being a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber. I can't say I have any fault with it at all and the price for a family plan is very much ideal, I wish Xbox offered something like that. What are your thoughts on Nintendo's online service?
Scorpion Posted May 18, 2025 Posted May 18, 2025 I think Nintendo's online services have improved over time, offering more features like online multiplayer, cloud saves, and digital storefronts. While still sometimes behind competitors, Nintendo’s efforts show a commitment to enhancing multiplayer experiences and expanding their gaming ecosystem.
killamch89 Posted May 19, 2025 Posted May 19, 2025 The value proposition of Nintendo Switch Online has improved dramatically since launch with the Expansion Pack's retro game additions. However, the service still lacks the infrastructure investment evident in competitors' platforms. Laggy netcode in games like Smash Bros shows Nintendo still treats online play as supplementary rather than essential, which feels increasingly disconnected from how people play.
