The Blackangel Posted May 23, 2025 Posted May 23, 2025 So I’m having a hell of a problem with my PS5. I’ve been trying to play RDR2 for the last several days, but I have little to no control in the game. I don't know what is going on, so I tried a different controller hoping that my controller was the issue. Same problem. Possibly even worse with the new controller. So I’m thinking the problem is either the game disc, or the system. But the disc hasn't been taken out for a while so I don't know how that could be it. I’m just hoping someone here can guide me on this. Is this a common issue with PS5's? I've never had a problem with joycon drift, so maybe this is my version of that.
Scorpion Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 It sounds frustrating. Control issues with RDR2 on PS5 aren’t very common, but could be related to software or system glitches. Try restarting your console, updating system software, or reinstalling the game. If problems persist, contacting PlayStation support might be helpful.
The Blackangel Posted May 26, 2025 Author Posted May 26, 2025 Will I lose all my save data if I have to reinstall the game?

Have you tried any other game disc to see if you encounter the same issue?

The Blackangel Posted June 2, 2025 Author Posted June 2, 2025 I deleted the file, and so far, everything else seems fine. So I'm going to lock this thread, as it's no longer relevant.
