Do Xbox achievements still matter to you?

I always remember when Xbox first introduced achievements, I loved them and being the kind of person who loved a challenge and working towards achievements, this addition was perfect for me. 

I used to spend a lot of time working towards completing all achievements in a game, using sites such as Xbox Achievements to help me out. 

When I think about achievements now, I wouldn't say they matter as much as they used to but if I feel I can complete challenges and I am up for challenges, I will go for them.

Achievements have definitely lost their appeal for me over the years. They used to drive me to explore every corner of a game, but now I'm more interested in experiencing great stories and gameplay rather than chasing arbitrary completion markers.
