StaceyPowers Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 Have you ever learned any real-world skills from playing games? I’ve learned a couple. -Playing MMOs taught me a lot of people skills. -I learned how to type ridiculously fast playing MUDs when I was younger. Both of the above have helped me with school first, and later work. What about the rest of you?
Yarik Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 I think that there is already a thread about this one but still... I have learned how to manage things better and how to follow instructions easier from RPG games.

My answer is pretty much going to be the same - I learned a lot about skating boarding, which was a fixture of my early teens through Tony' Hawk's ProSkater. The other thing though, The Sims taught me about a bit of economic management. So that's fun. DylanC 1
DylanC Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 Yep, I learnt how to shove-it from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series. Like, seriously. BEA53721-E80B-41F7-BD9B-3DF70CBDE25D.mp4 MegaphoneStallone 1
