StaceyPowers Posted June 1, 2025 Posted June 1, 2025 What are some games that actually fatigue you physically in some way, even from the couch or a chair? I’m thinking about the fishing mini-game in RDR 2. I have no idea if it’s by intent or not, but it is actual physical work to haul in a fish in that game. It makes fishing more annoying than relaxing in the game for me, but it does increase my immersion.
killamch89 Posted June 2, 2025 Posted June 2, 2025 Ring Fit Adventure completely changed my perspective on fitness gaming - it's actually challenging cardio disguised as an RPG adventure, and the boss battles genuinely get your heart pumping. StaceyPowers 1
Scorpion Posted June 2, 2025 Posted June 2, 2025 Games that involve intense motion, like virtual reality fitness games or active dance titles, can physically tire you even from a chair or couch. Moving your arms, legs, or shifting positions during gameplay can lead to fatigue, providing a surprisingly active experience.
Bizdustry Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Good question! Some fun games that make you move are Wii Sports and Just Dance. They get you off the couch and active while having a blast!
Anders Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 I remember playing the original Eye Toy Play on the PS2 as a kid. My friend that lived two houses over had a broken leg at the time, and we figured out that nearly all the minigames could be played with just your arms, so we each pulled up a dining chair in front of the probably 24" CRT and sat there waving our arms. Good times.

That sounds so interesting! I will look it up.
