If a regular Apple monitor stand can costs 1000 dollars, we will never get to the stage of considering their products remotely affordable.

This year my view for the alienware changed completely. I found out ASUS and MSI to be more worthy of the gaming laptops instead of dell and alienware combos.

To be honest, I always had Alienware in the same category as Apple - their products are incredibly overpriced while not being any better than other manufacturers. In fact, I have no clue why they think they'll charge such Premium prices for nothing.

Yeah and on the top of that. I can't imagine 15 inch screen laptops to be competing with 17 inch laptops the reason being more screenspace the better for gamers. 15 inch and lower is not worth for gaming experience. if console users can find bigger TV the bettter, PC gamers should go for 17 inch laptops too.

I have a 15 inch laptop and the gaming experience is just fine. If you're talking about the 13 inch laptops, well you'd have a point there. The other thing is that it's pretty hard to carry around a 17 inch laptop because they tend to be heavier in general and take up much more space.

Not all. Carrying 17 inch hardly is any different. Your 17 inch is diagonal size and not too much increase in there in compared to 15 inch. If you keep 15 and 17 side by side you won't feel much different in same carrying bag. The difference of viewing angle in 17 inch makes the difference for gaming.

meanwhile Dell XPS 13 which is expensive machine they call it gaming lol..  compared to 17 inch gaming machines, is pure waste on that part.

The only way I'd say a 13 inch gaming laptop might work is on a plane and even then, how many people try to do PC gaming on an aeroplane?
