killamch89 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Have you ever done martial arts? If so, how long have you been doing it and what rank/grade are you? Have you ever had to use it to defend yourself? How often do you train and have you won anything at any tournaments?
mont86 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 I like Bruce Lee movies and his theories about martial arts . Not a huge fan of Chuck anymore.

I used to do Shotokan in my early teens and I was pretty good at it too. I won trophies at every single tournament and the lowest I ever placed in a tournament was 2nd but then I got bored of it 😂

Funny enough I can still do the moves even though I don't practice. I just don't have the time to get back into something like that because it takes some real effort and focus.

Practicing techniques is very important because that is what determines your effectiveness as a fighter but sparring is what teaches you which techniques work in what situation.
