Kane99 Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 This is interesting news. Valve is working on new tech, that could immerse you in a video game even more. According to Independent, Gabe Newell says the tech will make the real world seem flat, colorless and blurry in comparison. Supposedly, it's going to be a way to connect peoples brains to computers. They're working on it now, and it sounds like it'll be an open-source project, which means anyone can use it, change it, add to it, etc. What do you think? If we're connected through our brains, do you think this could alter things and cause problems? I'm excited, but also scared it wouldn't work right.
staticradio725 Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 Welp, I'm scared. Sounds to me like a Black Mirror episode waiting to happen xD

This is an absolute nope from me - they're not going to use me as a test subject for some bizarre scientific experiment. I love my brain just the way it is.
