Gears of War: Reloaded is a new remaster that was built from the ground up. And not only is it coming out for Xbox consoles, it's also releasing for the PS5. And it comes out August 26th. No news on whether it will release on the Switch 2, but maybe down the line we'll see a Switch 2 release. For now it looks to be Xbox and PS5, with a PC release likely as well. An announcement was posted on the PlayStation twitter page as well:

ATTENTION VGR COMMUNITY! I call the attention of @Ja sa bong, @Knight Baridaand @Heatman especially, but I ask that everyone please take notice. I have just locked (and may continue to lock) several threads that have recently been posted on the Sports sub-forum. I have locked them because they discuss transfers, mostly football/soccer related. Wether they be factual, speculative, rumours or discussion on "who should transfer whare", they can all be classed as discussion on transfers. This post is polite reminder we have this pinned thread called "The Transfers Thread" for a reason. These threads on transfers limited to one specific sportsperson. We can't have a new thread for every player that transfers clubs, for example. If we allowed this, the sports sub-forum would flooded with hundreds of threads that are nothing but that. We just can't have that because if bumps down other discussions and is hoplessly impractical. Like I said, we have this thread for a reason. It's for you as much as anyone so you can find the latest discussion on these things in one, convenient place. Please stop posting new, individual threads on transfers. If this continues, we will have to consider more serious action for people who keep posting such threads. And to the members that I have mention, can you please like this post to indicate you have read and understood this.

How do you compare the artistic direction of various Xbox games?
Scorpion replied to killamch89's topic in Xbox
Comparing Xbox art styles is fascinating. From Ori's painterly beauty to Gears of War's gritty realism, each game uses visuals to create a distinct mood and world. It highlights the diverse talent. -
Which Xbox game has challenged your skills and strategy the most?
Scorpion replied to killamch89's topic in Xbox
Dark Souls III definitely pushed my skills and strategy to the limit. Every encounter demanded careful planning and precise execution. It was a brutal but rewarding challenge. -
What’s one Xbox game that made you appreciate its art direction?
Scorpion replied to killamch89's topic in Xbox
Ori and the Blind Forest really blew me away with its art direction. The hand-drawn style and vibrant colors created such a beautiful and emotional world. It's truly stunning. -
Honestly, I've never changed my PC battery. They usually last for years, and by the time it's an issue, I'm typically looking at upgrading the whole machine anyway.

Which arcade game’s level layout do you remember vividly?
Scorpion replied to killamch89's topic in Platforms
The first level of Donkey Kong is etched in my memory. The barrels rolling down, climbing the ladders, and trying to save Pauline – it's such a classic and challenging layout I can still picture perfectly. -
Which classic arcade‑game high score have you tried to beat?
Scorpion replied to killamch89's topic in Platforms
I've definitely spent hours trying to beat my own high score in Galaga. That feeling of getting further and further, surviving wave after wave, was so addictive. Still haven't quite mastered it! -
Who is your favorite classic arcade‑game character?
Scorpion replied to killamch89's topic in Platforms
My favorite classic arcade game character is Pac-Man. I love his simple design and how he navigates the maze, eating dots and avoiding ghosts. He's such an iconic figure, instantly bringing back memories of fun times at the arcade. -
House of the Dead definitely scared me! The jump scares and zombies were terrifying as a kid. Even the sound effects gave me the creeps. Still gives me shivers thinking about it!

My first arcade game was Pac-Man! The sounds and chasing ghosts were so exciting. I remember spending all my allowance trying to beat my high score. A classic!

Hypercasual games are still hot, but mid-core titles with deeper gameplay are gaining traction. NFTs and blockchain in games? Not so much with most players right now.
-
For offline fun, I love Stardew Valley for relaxing farming, and Alto's Odyssey for beautiful endless running. Plague Inc. is also surprisingly engaging for strategic simulation on the go.

How do you organize and store your mobile accessories?
Scorpion replied to killamch89's topic in Mobile
I use small pouches and a desk organizer. Cables go in one pouch, earbuds in another. The desk organizer holds my stand and larger items. It keeps things tidy and easy to find. -
How do accessories like phone grips or stands impact your mobile usage?
Scorpion replied to killamch89's topic in Mobile
Phone grips are game-changers for comfort, especially for extended use. Stands are fantastic for hands-free video watching or following recipes. They definitely make mobile usage more ergonomic. -
What mobile game has the best balance of simplicity and depth?
Scorpion replied to killamch89's topic in Mobile
I'd say Stardew Valley on mobile. It's easy to pick up and play, but the sheer amount of things to do and relationships to build gives it incredible depth. -
What mobile game do you think handles in-game advertising the best?
Scorpion replied to killamch89's topic in Mobile
That's a tough one! I appreciate games that offer optional ads for rewards, like extra lives or coins. It feels less intrusive and gives the player control over their experience. -
We’re definitely long past the days of NWA and 2Pac. There’s a few that are talented as hell, but the other 98% are the most untalented “musicians” in rap that have ever picked up a mic.

I can't believe that the The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is already 10 years since it was released. It was just like yesterday when the game came out. No wonder The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt CD Projekt Red wants to celebrate together the 10 years anniversary with their fans. Are you a fan of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt?

Fans of Deadzone: Rogue have been asking for this feature for a while and Prophecy Games have shown active listening to their player feedback. They have swiftly incorporated single-player campaign which can be played offline and added new missions to the game. How do you feel about the offline single-player campaign?
