RIght, I love almost everything about this trailer so far, but I have one problem. Knifey’s animations seem really stiff, and lack movement and flow to them specifically the grapple animation seems really off to me. I also believe some particle and sound effects would highly improve them, but I know this game is pretty far from finished and this problem will most likely be fixed. Overall I’m really excited for this game, in fact, this is currently my most anticipated game of the year!

I noticed that as well, but I had to overlook because I felt the game would be worked on more and the final product would come out good.

Not my most anticipated game of the year because God of war Ragnarok takes that spot but I am definitely getting the game once it's out.

It's certainly a step up from the first game, but for me the game still suffers from open world bloat. The typical go from point A to point B, collect things/kill machines, go back to A. Gets tedious. The higher reward payout does help a bit. Combat is great. Story is so far so good. Looking forward to see how the rest of the game pans out.

I played zero dawn but I didn't find it as tedious, I have played forbidden west but I have read a few articles about it and most review tend to give zero Dawn more accolades but says forbidden west feels like and upgraded version with good graphics more rewards.

I am certainly curious to have a more personal experience with the game.

  3. An even more intense horror game that messes with your mind all through is Alien: Isolation left all alone in an abandoned spaceship or something of that sort and been hunted down by a rather disturbing and horribly looking creature, fighting to save the game is excruciatingly fun.

It's one of the best games I've ever played.

Of course, since I like it that much I'm going to be very biased but still. I love how it's one of those "make your own fun" kinds of games. It's relaxing on your own, but can be quite scary if you're not feeling up to engaging with other players, so that risk is always looming in the back of your head. However, when you play with friends it's an unparalelled experience, imo. Almost every session is memorable in some way, even if it's just your friend lighting a powder keg in the wrong place, it truly feels organic and fun like that. It's still relatively (but deceptively) simple.

A lot of people don't seem to like that there's no power progression and that most (all) rewards are cosmetic. I think it just adds to the experience, because it means that you can't get ganked by someone who's grinded out the best weapon, and if you do get ganked they were simply better or luckier (or both) than you. Which goes both ways of course. I also personally like that you can't opt out of the risk of PvP, and Rare's been pretty steadfast with that it's a pirate simulator after all, so of course there might be pirates out to get you.

Fantastic game overall, and together with some friends it's one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.

It sounds really from how you've described though I have watched a few gameplay videos and wasn't too keen on getting due to how simple it felt but like you said it's deceptive.

Well , I would give it a try , a buddy of mine informed me he has it so I am going over there by weekend to play , I hope it's multiplayer mode lives up to the all the hype as well.

On top of this all, it looks like no one is really playing the current games Netflix does have. Wired has an article that came out last week, that mentions that most people don't even know Netflix has games. It is said that 99% of subscribers might not even know about their games. Which says one thing, it's not good. If they were to jump into the triple A market, I don't think they would be able to succeed.

You can read about that bit of news here - https://www.wired.com/story/netflix-mobile-games-no-one-playing/

The part about "most people not knowing that Netflix has games is true".

I was having a chat with a friend and we were discussing about game developing studios with the best overall video games out and along the line I mentioned Netflix makes video games and he was surprised to learn about it.

I think Netflix didn't do much advertising about their video games as much as they do their tv shows , movies or series which could be one of the reasons for it's poor sells.

It's a game that centres on the life of the character of Erica who's haunted by the memories of the day her father was murdered. Her nightmares serves as a key to finding her father's killer.

It's a very interesting game to the best of my knowledge. I haven't seen who played it that never liked it.

It sounds really interesting,I Like mystery and crime solving and I feel this is a game I would enjoy playing.

I would check out for more info about it and watch a few game play videos as well.

If you enjoy flying, then I'd recommend getting into Microsoft Flight Simulator because you're going to love it. Although, I that it's not something like Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing : New Horizons or even Two Point Hospital but it's a massive simulation game.

I had that in mind for a while and there is a thread here about the micro soft flight simulator.

I am working with a minimum budget so getting the Microsoft flight simulator would go way above what I plan on spending since I would have to purchase air crafts as well and from what I heard they aren't really cheap.

You might end up with getting the BioShock DLC clash of clans before I do because right now, I'm cut deeply on finances that I'm afraid if I would have the pleasure of spending on my leisure for the time being. Hopefully, I should have things sorted out soon enough, then I'd get right back on track.

    That's understandable

I am planning on getting the game in the coming week, but it would depend on how fast I am able to complete sekiro.

But right now I am stuck between purchasing ghost of tsushima and completing it or just settling for BioShock, but since I have already played and completed the original release of BioShock I think ghost of tsushima would be a better option.

I never felt comfortable with playing the game with less than 8 players because it always felt like there wouldn't be much twist in the game's story since it's just between only 2 players.

I'm not saying that it's something that's going to be fun to play but it's going to be lacking in more to play.

Have you played it with 8 players already?

I feel  you would still have a good experience with less than 8 players and besides the main characters are Vince walker, Michelle walker , Zoe walker  and Jim Walker playing with the Game with 8 players would still mean you all have to choose from ten characters leaving out two.

The game is programed to progress even though you have only two, three or four players.

I hope multiplayer lives up to the hype. I may not be a huge Harry Potter fan by any means, but I do want to see a game like this succeed, because it looks like it could be a great MMO that will stretch on for years to come. If they do things right, it could be huge.

That's true, this sort of MMO would have to involve a lot of in-game interactions between players while they still play to finish their own individual missions.

With all I have read I think it would do pretty great in multiplayer mode.

Yeah!! It was the only game that I have had to travel to stay with a friend for him to teach me in person how to get good at playing it especially with the use of bow and arrows.

It was that important for me to make that move which makes it a game of high priority till date.

I liked how you could stealthy creep up on unaware opponents and kill them with the blade.

The battles in ghost of tsushima is ready intense with the use of fireballs or some kind of explosive devices.

The whole reason the newest COD sold less and has lost users is probably because of fatigue. I have no interest in playing any of the new CODs these days. I've played most of the games, getting the new ones every year, but I've since stopped because it's not fun anymore, at least for me. Gaming fatigue is a real thing, where you lose interest in a game or series because you have played too much of it.

I think with a few years break, I may be interested in jumping back in.

That's a personal issue, I still know a few of my buddies that are addicted to COD and plays it every single time.

Yeah, that's true. What it actually did was make a deep cut off from their profit making on their games and services.

If they are invested very well in bringing it up where it's supposed to be, I'm very sure that it's something that's capable of for them to do.

Vanguard didn't do well afterwards as much as it was supposed to and the developers need to slow down on how fast a new game is released though.

Netflix issue of losing their subscribers is completely different from what's making Call of Duty game franchise losing their number of active gamers.

You can read on this 6 reasons to understand why Netflix keeps losing its subscribers with pulling out their services in Russia since the break Russian-Ukraine war.

    https://www.makeuseof.com/why-netflix-is-losing-subscribers/

The point is every big industry has their own down times and maybe this is one for call of duty and sane for Netflix.

But that hasn't stopped majority of other COD players or Netflix users to stop using or playing the video game.

They still make good sells with every new release of cod and vanguard was even the best selling new video game of 2021 as well, though sells dropped as the year went by and other games were released.

E-sports people obviously take less physical risk than physical sports people because video games are not physical sports. However, there's not that much risk in physical sports these days, especially due to how some of them were played in the past.

Basketball players have practically no risk on the court, and I'm not talking about the cases where players just fall over and faceplant out of no where (I know why that's happening but won't discuss it here). Basketball is just one massive cardio triathlon. Players would be tested before entering pro-basketball to see if they have any risks, and if they're told that they dont, then that's all they have to do is run around on the court the whole game and basically fool around with the ball a little bit. Pro basketball people have good cardio and very fast hands/arms -- the latter of which is similar to blockers in pro-football. You can have 350 pounders in football that have extremely fast hands.

That's exactly my point, and you also mentioned that those professional athletes are aware of what they are getting into and so one would be held responsible for whatever injury or harm they encounter on the pitch or court.

Professional e-sports player uses his mind and fingers to control whatever happens in the game and same with pro athletes.

Fortnite is terrible. It's made by the makers of Gears of War and makes you build stuff in the middle of a firefight and starts you with no guns.

It's been a while since anyone mentioned fortnite here, I think starting you with no gun was so that you find it along the way or earn a free gun when you buy a comic of fortnite or something of that sort.

  16. Seeing the hunting 2 simulator in that picture reminded me of the one time I did play the hunting 2 simulator at a friend's place.

I like shooting games a lot and this is just one of those games where stealth and focus would determine if you are going to get any kill during the play. It gives you more like a realistic experience of been in a jungle and using a riffle to hunt down specific preys.

I did play the game for a couple of minutes before we both switched to FIFA which is what we usually play when I'm around.

i played with a Nokia before it sucked...

You just reminded me of the Nokia phone gaming era, and it was really interesting because you didn't get as many devices that could play a multiplayer soccer game like nokia.

And the device came with some really interesting Games I enjoyed playing on my dad's Nokia phone as a kid.

  18. Please be informed that most people on YouTube this day are just there to make money off your views and the number of views they get would determine how much they get paid, so they can post whatever they feel would catch the attention of users and give them more views.

But as the thread topic says "this is bullshit" and watching the video would only give them more views encouraging to them to put out more videos like this, so please if you are going through the comments section of this thread don't even Bother clicking the video.

@Heatman answered it right. If a single team wins it year after year, their is nothing exciting. If you check EPL, you can't see a single team winning it four consecutive, even if Manchester city is proving too strong for others to catch-up, I don't see them winning it like the way Bayern Munich have monopolized bundesliga.

EPL has to be the most competitive league side soccer competition in the world right now , before you qualify for the champions league you would have encountered a lot of hurdles on your way up.

Does anyone here still utilize strategy guides? Like the big books you could buy at the store for pretty much every game to come out. They still make them these days, but they're becoming less and less due to the internet and the ease of putting out a walkthrough. I wouldn't mind building up a strategy guide collection one day. I see no issues with using them when you're in a pinch.

It's been a long time since I had a need for one but they were really cool and helpful back in the days, only used one once because my friend had it.

When I encounter a really difficult puzzle in a video game I look for answers online and in times when there is no helpful hint online I just quit and come back some other time to continue.
