Snacks, Junk Foods and Fast Foods perfect for gamers

Channeled my inner health guru and make a banana smoothie with Almond Milk - very tasty! -

Cyberpunk 2077. I applied the performance fix some guy came up with and my gaming PC is finally running it very smoothly - albeit some settings turned down.

Samsung is set to release a rollable phone next year
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in Mobile
Let's take the LG Wing for example. A very innovative concept but ultimately the second screen serves no real purpose than their previous dual screen offerings. I agree with you that changing things just cause isn't really the way to go. -
UK politicians call for action against PS5 and Xbox Series scalpers
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
We had a similar discussion about this in another thread and we were trying to come up with different ways to combat this issue such as captcha among other things but there are ways to get around these methods. It would still provide a deterrent to most scalpers as it would make their activities time-consuming and inefficient and they'd definitely start losing profit. -
If it wasn't for AMD, we'd still be quad core processors and having to buy a new motherboard for every new Intel chipset that came out. At least, these computers can handle far more demanding tasks than say 2-3 years ago...

Can you teach adult how to play game to while away time?
killamch89 replied to bomb's topic in Gaming Forum
I wish my parents took any interest in gaming. My dad used to play Duck Hunt and Mario among other titles back in the days but he stopped gaming in the 90s. All I ever hear is how gaming is a waste of time and there are more productive things you could do with your life etc. -
Definitely at home - you have far more time to play games without random strangers screaming in your ear about how long you're taking among other things. To begin with, I hardly ever went to arcades/game centers because I always had consoles to provide me with entertainment.

UK politicians call for action against PS5 and Xbox Series scalpers
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
UK politicians are really doing something! I like where this is going and I do hope it catches on in other jurisdictions. This sickening process needs to stop but I wonder what is their motivation to remedy this issue? Is it that their kids started complaining? Or are they being affected in other sectors as well? -
It's time for developers/publishers to stop rushing games to release
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
I totally agree with you that it was a very scummy move by them and I also had this same convo with my friend about why didn't they release it for the new gen consoles and PC first and release the current gen version a bit later. Or just made it a game for the next gen consoles and PC only. -
Why aren't there more games with Santa as the main character?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
I did the same! I even had a "giveaway" on GTA online but the car had an ignition bomb so when they started up the car, they're blown to a million pieces. -
Should Video Games Be More Integrated Into Education
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in Gaming Forum
You have a valid point there. The animations will definitely grab their attention and will make them more curious. We weren't necessarily saying to get rid of the teacher. It's more of an aide to help the teachers get their points across to the children and help them retain that information. -
Just watch the show for five minutes - trust me, you'll want to punch your TV in no time... Valid points as always man. It's true - they always come up with all kinds of bullshit studies that have no correlation to how things actually work in the real world and try to tell us it's "facts". When it comes to gaming, I've learnt to not listen to these "experts". They've never tried playing a game in their entire life. Gaming actually increases memory-related skills such as co-ordination among others and there have been plenty of studies to refute this "new" study.

This is a pretty tough one - where to start...If I were to say my favorite game of all time, I can't even answer that one. I've been gaming for close to 3 decades, I could possibly give you a top 100 though...

Fall Guys Season 3 is coming, are people even still interested?
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
What's this Fall Guys everyone keeps talking about? I'm just kidding, I have played the game but it's pretty repetitive and boring. I don't really follow it up either so I'm very nonchalant about this news. -
There's nothing wrong with orangutan milk. Wait, what's Orangutan milk? XD

1. Milk Before Cereal Or Cereal Before Milk
killamch89 replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
This is why I had so many food-related threads on this site. Just talking about food starts to make me hungry 😹. I do have a cooked breakfast most mornings. it's just that I'll occasionally opt for cereal if I'm busy and have to rush out the house or I just want to have it. -
I learnt my lesson about Preordering games when I decided to preorder Star Wars Battlefront in 2016...Needless to say, I've learnt to wait for the actual reviews of a game before I make a purchase(or anything else for that matter). CD Projekt Red are offering refunds and did send out a huge apology promising fixes and the whole works. I'll say this much, at least they make an effort to address the issue rather than make countless excuses like EA and others and you'd never get back your preorder money either.
-
I never played it that much to be honest - I was always playing Goldeneye with my friends. What was the game like? (I had borrowed it at one point but just never bothered to play anymore after a few runs.) This argument stands true to majority of the FPS from the early 2000s.
-
I just hope we can get a bit more ammo. In Resident Evil 7, you have to pray to the Gods before you stand a remote chance of finding any ammo. I'm looking forward to this game as I know Capcom will knock it out of the park as usual. I just wish Capcom could acquire the licenses for Castlevania, Metal Gear and Silent Hill.

A giveaway is a great idea. I mean, since they're already promoting their product, why not go all the way! I definitely wouldn't buy it for that price either but you do have some "controller collectors" who would want to add it to their list.
-
Knowing Nintendo, they'll probably release an identical controller but they'll try to address the issues like the "joycon drift".

It's time for developers/publishers to stop rushing games to release
killamch89 replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
They did offer an apology, promised refunds and fixes after the buggy launch so I'll be a tad more lenient on them unlike EA and others who would've told you to suck it up. -
Yeah, I had heard about that. Also, Ermac wasn't going to be a Mortal Kombat character until MK fans started demanding the "red ninja" after MK 1 and they decided to add him to the game as a playable character in MK Trilogy.
-
We've had various discussion about this buggy launch and I've said countless times that they should've waited until the game was actually ready. Due to the bad publicity of the launch, CD Projekt Red is now issuing refunds and promising Patch fixes. Now hear me out, I blasted them for the buggy launch and they fully deserved the criticism but I'll at least say that not many companies would've offered refunds (cough*EA - Star Wars Battlefront* cough). Bethesda and others wouldn't do the same - it at least shows us that they have acknowledged that they screwed up badly. Let's just hope they don't do this again. What are your thoughts on this?
